Blake Christensen, JD/MBA

Blake leads Idaho Strategic Consulting after serving six years as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for a research university. As a lawyer, strategic adviser, and professional development expert, Blake is dedicated to helping clients and their teams reach their maximum potential. Blake has a passion for teaching and thrives on leading programs that are interactive, productive, and enjoyable for all participants. 

Blake has a law degree from the College of William and Mary, is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), and an MBA from the Yale School of Management where he focused on organizational strategy. He is also a certified Strengths Deployment Inventory, Leadership Challenge, and Real Colors facilitator with extensive experience strategizing with executive teams, leading professional development programs, coaching executives, facilitating strategic planning sessions, and helping clients find answers to move their organizations forward.

Liesel Bennion, MS

Liesel is an energetic facilitator with over a decade of high school teaching experience and a masters degree in science education from Montana State University. A breast cancer survivor and advocate, she leads sessions with empathy and compassion, with a strong focus on helping participants gain insight into the “why” of their personal development. In addition to her teaching and consulting work, Liesel is a doctoral student at Idaho State University where her research focuses on connecting educators with greater resources for the classroom. Liesel uses her extensive classroom and teaching experience to connect with participants, ensure they are engaged, and guide them to getting the most out of their professional development experience.
